Interested in being an IHSA Photography
or Video Intern for Nationals?

The IHSA Public Relations Committee is looking for two to three undergraduate IHSA members with strong photography skills to work at the 202 IHSA National Championship. These individuals will be asked to capture candid photographs during the event, including but not limited to the barns, warm-up arena, mounting area and grandstands. In addition, the interns may be asked to capture specific images for use in IHSA marketing. The interns will not be permitted to take any photographs in the arena or of any awards ceremony unless directed by the official photographer. The interns will report directly to a member of IHSA Public Relations/Communications Committee during the event. This individual will review photographs taken by the intern and identify photographs for use in IHSA public relations/advertising capacity. All photographs selected to be used by the IHSA will be used solely for IHSA public relations and advertising and will credit the interns. The rights of such photos shall be given to the IHSA with the stipulation that they not be sold. The interns must have their own camera equipment and have the ability to edit and electronically transfer high-resolution (300 dpi) jpg images. Clearly identified images shall be submitted daily and by the Monday following the championship’s conclusion to the IHSA Public Relations/Communications Committee. The internship is unpaid; interns will be considered volunteers for the event, provided with hotel and meals. The interns are responsible for their own travel expenses. The interns selected must place this internship as the priority during Nationals. Top candidates' work will be considered to be published in national publications.
