FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Dec. 18, 2020 – The Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) Executive Director Peter Cashman and IHSA founder Bob Cacchione will join hosts Piper Klemm, Ph.D., publisher of The Plaid Horse magazine and Tonya Johnston, MA., a mental skills coach and author, on the Plaidcast podcast Friday, Dec. 25. They will discuss collegiate education and riding during the pandemic, their Inaugural Online Horse Show, powered by DigitalHorseShow.com and more.
“We look forward to joining Piper and Tonya to discuss the IHSA, the challenges we faced this year and our vision for the future,” Cashman said.
The Plaidcast is a weekly equestrian-inspired podcast with guests from all corners of the equestrian world, including Olympic equestrians, top hunter/jumper and equitation riders, professionals, horse show managers and industry insiders.
"I describe the Plaidcast as 'in-depth conversations on topics that matter,' and collegiate riding is undoubtedly one of those topics,” Klemm said. “I'm always delighted to discuss education, and I feel strongly about constantly continuing our own education - both in and out of the saddle - so it's a pleasure to have Peter and Bob on the show to discuss the IHSA's valuable role in that regard."
The Plaidcast is hosted on Horse Radio Network and is available for download in Apple App Store and Google Play for Android or listen to the latest episodes here.
