INSURANCE FOR COACHES

IHSA coaches must have professional liability insurance and proof on file with the Regional President before they may coach an IHSA Team:

• Provided by the college they are employed in the form of institution letterhead or insurance form
• Professional liability policy proof on existing farm policy
• Professional liability policy provided by Equisure for IHSA coaches: cost of $150

INSURANCE FOR EVENTS

When a host school creates a show on the IHSA Website, insurance will be automatically applied for through Equisure. If there are any needs for additional insurance for a show, please contact Equisure directly. 

REMINDERS

ACCIDENT FORM

Use the Accident Report Form for any incident that occurs during the event on the show grounds. Forward a copy of the Accident Report to the Regional President, the Zone Chair, the National Steward and the National Treasurer within (5) days of the show date. If you need to cancel a horse show for any reason, contact Becky Huddleston, IHSA National Secretary, at tightfitstables@Yahoo.com

SCHOOLING WAIVER FOR NON-IHSA MEMBERS

Please use Schooling Rider Waiver form for all schooling riders that are not IHSA member riders.  If a rider is under 18 must have the signature of one parent.
